Quick tools and browser drafts

Quick-tool entries stay in tab memory until you save or export. The browser workspace stores drafts in this browser’s local storage. Other users of the same browser profile may access those drafts. Clearing website data can remove them. Export a backup before clearing data or using a shared device.

Cloud accounts

When cloud sign-in is connected and you choose it, Microsoft Entra External ID handles authentication and Azure Functions/Cosmos DB store your organiser workspace. Access tokens protect account requests. The site never asks for your password inside its own form. Cloud workspace records are kept in tab memory rather than copied into the browser draft store. Sign out on shared devices.

Shared scoreboards

Sharing is optional. Anyone holding a read-only link can access its competitor display names, scores, schedules and playing-area labels. Use team names or nicknames where appropriate and avoid personal contact details. Share links are excluded from search indexing, but a link is not a private membership restriction. Revoke a link and successfully save the change to disable it. Data someone already copied cannot be recalled.

Backups and retention

Downloaded backups may include participant names and sharing keys. Keep them private. Restoring a backup disables imported share links. Records are kept until you delete or replace them within the product limits; no automatic expiry of saved tournaments is promised. Azure Cosmos DB is configured with seven-day point-in-time recovery for operator-managed recovery; this is not a substitute for your own exported backups. Browser-only drafts have no server backup.

Hosting, logs and advertising

Hosting providers process ordinary connection details to deliver and protect this service. API logging must exclude tokens, share URLs and tournament payloads. This version includes no advertising or analytics script. Public guides may support advertising later with appropriate consent and publisher approval; scoring and private organiser screens will remain clear of ads.

Device features

The app caches public application files for installation and offline use; it does not cache private API responses. Clipboard access is used only when you choose Copy link. Downloads and printing happen when you request them. Fonts and QR code generation run locally.
